
ALMA 2012 is an educational and networking opportunity for Australian, South East Asian and International legal professionals interested in capturing opportunities in the lucrative Asian mediation and arbitration business. THE DELEGATES
ALMA 2012 is anticipated to attract over a hundred senior delegates from Australia and across the Asia-Pacific region. Invitations will be extended to functions and keynote sessions to interested members of the Hong Kong legal fraternity and business community.

The proposed venue for ALMA 2012 is The Conrad Hotel Hong Kong, which is centrally located to the Legal community and a 5-star hotel.
EVENT OVERVIEW
Day One
Conference Sessions will be delivered by expert local and international speakers and will include an overview of the legal process and systems in Hong Kong, an outline of the opportunities available in the region, and information regarding local practice and the role of the international business lawyer in Hong Kong

Day One will conclude with a Welcome Function for delegates and invited guests.
Day Two
For the morning session, delegates are able to select two Specialist Meeting Sessions which will be held in the offices of local Law Firms. Proposed topics and specialties include:
Session 1: Mediation & Arbitration / Investment Funds & Financial Services: HKSFC-ASIC Cooperation / Company Law / Criminal Law / Family Law.
Session 2: Mediation & Arbitration / Banking & Financial Services / Shipping & Maritime / Construction Law / Commercial Law
Delegates will lunch with the Firm hosting their second session, then return to the main conference venue.
Afternoon Tea will be provided before delegates and local invited guests will participate in the afternoon conference session, including a keynote address.

This will be followed by a Conference Function for delegates and invited guests, including a keynote speaker. Tickets for this event may be purchased for partners.
Day Three
The final Conference Sessions will include Speakers who have been carefully selected to wrap up the three day ALMA 2012 event for our delegates, and to provide opportunities for questions, discussion and comment. Topics include:
